the Difference you Made!
The
Tibetan Aid Foundation, the boys and girls of the Chazu Valley
and their parents greatly appreciate your support of our first
Annual Dinner & Dance
that was held last June at the Backyard Ranch in Ojai, California.
Through
your generous donations, four young Tibetans are now attending
college and one attending high school (image on the right). Without
your support these young enthusiastic children would not have
had the opportunity to further their educational ambitions.
To
continue in this spirit, on Saturday, June 28th, 2008
Trudie Town and Tanya Smith-Montano of Ojai, California once again
are opening their hearts and their home for our 2nd Annual Dinner
Dance for the children of the Chazu Valley. We are excited to
announce that this year there will be a silent auction in addition
to the dinner and live music event.
You
will be receiving an invitation in the near future. In the meantime,
should you have any questions or would like to know more about
the event, please feel free to contact Trudie Town at trudietown@roadrunner.com
or Tanya Smith-Montano at
tanya.smithmontano@gmail.com
So
please come and be a part of helping make Dreams Come True for
more young boys and girls in Tibetan communities.
Thank
you again for your support and we look forward to seeing you
Saturday, June 28th!
| "I
would like to take this opportunity to thank the TibetanAid
Foundation for their generous and kind support of my education;
this will give me a great chance to continue my study. I know
that with your help I will be able to complete my education
to become a teacher in my village. Thank you." - Kelsang
